So I knitted another octopus. This one was a surprise for a friend. She knew I was knitting it, but not that it was for her. Haha.

I decided to add some “rings” to make it a Blue Ringed Octopus. Since I added them without any real pattern I think I did pretty well. \o/ I didn’t really have the exact colors, but I thought these went really well together. :D

Overall I’m super freaking happy for this damn thing.

Knitting Update:

Because I have the time I decided I would post a few pictures on projects that I’m currently working on.

Here’s that “secret” project I was knitting last month and have since put down and haven’t touched for a few weeks. ahaa

It’s Spectra, by Stephen West. 

I’m also working on another shawl but I don’t really have a decent picture of that as of now so have some colors. :D

I’m wary about this one because I always knit shawls on size 3 needles or smaller no matter what the pattern calls for. I’m just not a huge fan of really loose stitches. But when I saw this pattern I realized that I didn’t want this knit any other way so I sucked it up and casted on with size 8’s.

Here’s hoping. :D

I’ve dubbed it “The Vegetarian Zombie”

Thanks to my brother for modeling. There was one with his face (because everyone had hilarious things to say about him last time he modeled for me) but it didn’t come out right and I don’t feel like taking another. haha

30 Day Knitting Challenge: Day 2

Day 2: What is currently on your needles?

I usually work on a few projects at a time.

which are the socks for my friend. That I can’t actually show. Until she gets them. So…yep. 

The Christmas socks I am probably going to frog. Because they don’t fit and I don’t want to give them away. 8C I’ll figure out something to do with them. 

Oh my god. I am so sorry to knit-me-a-blanket and waitingtocollide. I actually finished these two days ago, but they seemed huge! They were big on me and I wear a size 9 to 9 1/2 x.x so I had to redo a part of them. I would have felt horrible if they didn’t fit you guys.  They look a little wonky cause I went on my own towards the end to make them more fitted. You don’t notice it when you’re wearing them though. haha. I was going to add ribbon, but I thought that buttons might be cuter so all I have left is to add those tonight after work then I PROMISE these things will be in the mail.  I feel so horrible these are so late. (This is why I don’t do contests. Next time I mention a contest someone slap me in the face and tell me to make the damn prize first.)  Anyway, Two purple for Knit-me-a-blanket and one purple, one blue for waitingtocollide. :D  I’m excited because these things are actually quite cute. xD
